There are many varieties of clematis with pink flowers in almost all groups, it is one of the most common colors. The shades are anything from delicately pastel to almost red, to suit any taste. There are varieties with large and small flowers, different pruning groups, winter-hardy and not very – in general, to any taste. On this page there is a full list of such varieties with photos. Abilene, Evipo027
‘Abilene’ is a relatively new variety, not yet sold in the USA (at least not at the time of writing). It differs from most old large-flowered varieties by its stunted stature – Abilene shoots very rarely grow more than 150 cm. It is still unknown how well this clematis winters in the northern states of the USA, but in Oregon there will be no problems.

Abundance
‘Abundance’ is a very old French variety of clematis with wine-red or purple-pink flowers. It is a high-growing and rather winter-hardy clematis with very abundant blooms.

Ai-Nor
Clematis “Ai-Nor” was bred by M.A. Beskaravayna in the 70s of the 20th century. The variety is characterized by long flowering, high winter hardiness, unpretentious and grows well in the conditions of the northern states of the USA. Flowers are large enough, very spectacular.

Akaishi
Early-blooming, large-flowered variety with bicolored sepals: lilac and purple edges and a red stripe in the middle. The color of the sepals changes depending on the age of the flower and growing conditions.

Alionushka
“Alyonushka” – one of the most popular bush varieties of clematis. The variety is very winter-hardy, unpretentious and abundantly flowering, but the plants require support (although they do not cling). It grows and winters well in all northern states of the United States, as well as in the countries of Northern Europe.

Andromeda
“Andromeda” is a variety with large white-pink flowers, and in regions with a warm long summer they are often semi-marginal. In Michigan and Minnesota, unfortunately, they are not, and in general, this clematis is a bit cold there.

Asao
“Asao” is a clematis of the second pruning group with large pink flowers. Its winter hardiness in conditions of Michigan and other northern states of the USA is questionable: reviews about wintering results are very different. In California, Oregon and so on, there are no problems with this variety.

Dancing Smile
A wonderful variety with small, very unusual terry flowers of soft pink color. ‘Dansing Smile’ forms a compact bush and is generally good for everything, but it is very heat-loving.

Danuta

Joan Picton
Clematis ‘Joan Picton’ incorrectly called ‘John Picton’ is beautiful, flowering profusely only on last year’s shoots, and these in northern states like Michigan and Minnesota rarely survive the winter even in shelters.

Doctor Ruppel
“Dr. Ruppel” is a large-flowered clematis with large white-pink flowers. Among others, he does not stand out in any special way. The variety is more or less suitable for growing in Minnesota, Michigan and other northern U.S. states, but the shoots left for the winter often freeze.

‘Kaen’ is a Japanese variety of clematis with unusual terry flowers. They have irregularly shaped sepals and very atypical coloring – often with flecks of green on the sepals.

Pink Swing

Clematis ‘Princess Kate’ belongs to the texensis group. It is a fairly heat-loving and not frost-resistant clematis and is excellent for many US states as well as the UK, but not suitable for Canada.

Rubromarginata
Clematis Rubromarginata belongs to the Flammula group. It is a fast-growing, abundantly flowering and rather spectacular small-flowered clematis, but it is not very winter-hardy.
